Working to Foster, Promote, and Improve the Versatile Hunting Dog Breeds in North America

NAVHDA (North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association) is dedicated to promoting, fostering and improving the versatile hunting dog breeds.  San Diego is an official chapter of NAVHDA. We have training days once a month, host NAVHDA sanctioned tests, and conduct social and hunting events that are of interest to our membership.
If you own one of the versatile breeds, come train with us!  If you are a newbee, you will move quickly to your goal of having a companion trained to hunt. If you are an experienced handler, you will have fun sharing your knowledge and watching the novice turn pro.  Participating in training days will also keep your dog sharp for hunting season.

If you are considering acquiring one of the versatile breed dogs, come visit a training day and see dogs and handlers in action.
